I need a copy (official or unofficial) of my Medaille transcript. Help!
We frequently receive emails and questions from alumni about how to obtain a copy of their Medaille transcript. The Registrar's Office (800-292-1582) handles transcript requests for current and former students. Print, complete and mail or fax the Transcript Request Form
to Medaille College, 18 Agassiz Circle, Buffalo, NY 14214 or (716) 880-2535.
How do I register?
To register for the first time, go to the registration page
, where you will enter a username, your first name, last name and class year. Follow the steps to set up your personal profile, including a valid email address, and an administrator will review and approve your registration.
An email will be sent to your email address verifying that your registration is active, and you can login to the site with full access to all features.How do I login to the site?

Certain sections of the site, such as news, publications and general information, are available to the public. Alumni profiles, message boards, and group information are only available to registered members of the site and College staff. Membership is verified by consulting our records to confirm that a member was a student at Medaille.I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

If your record could not be matched with existing graduate in our database, your registration may be denied. Please contact our office during business hours (716-880-2475) for more information.Can I change my personal profile information (name, address, photo, career information)?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage all alumni to keep their profile up-to-date with contact information and recent accomplishments. When you are logged into the site, the far right column (blue background) contains a link to "Edit My Profile." Fields that have a red star (*) are required. If you do not wish for others to see certain information, simply check the checkbox to the left of that field.What if I do not want my information displayed?
To hide information from other registered members, click on the "Edit My Profile" link in the far right column (blue background). You must be logged in to see that feature. Uncheck the boxes next to the information you wish to hide from the community. At any time, you can see how others will view your profile by clicking on the "My Personal Page" link in the far right column.
This information will still be available to you and to Medaille College Staff. If you wish to be removed from the directory completely, please contact our office (716-880-2475) during business hours.How do I search for other members?
A quick search feature, for first and last names, is available in the top left corner under "Community Search." For more specific searches, click on the "Member Search" link in the left column, where you can search under any or all of the following fields: member status, group membership, first name, last name, city/town, location/state, country, profession, degree type, degree program.I have friends (and fellow graduates) who have not yet registered for the site. Is there an easy way to tell them about it?
The online alumni community has a "tell a friend" feature. Once you are logged in, click on the "Tell a Friend" link in the far right column (blue background). You can then enter the email addresses of up to ten alumni you would like to tell about the Medaille alumni community web site. You can add a brief note to them in the "Message" field. Press "Submit" to send the email, and the name of this site and a link to register will automatically be included for you.How can I get in touch with other alumni?
Registered members can send and receive messages through the site. This keeps email addresses private from the community, unless the member wishes to share it with others. To send a message, search for the profile of the person with whom you would like to communicate, and select the "Message Member" link next to their name. Type your message in the field provided, and click on "preview." You will be given the chance to attach an image, if desired, or to immediately send your message.>How do I use the Connection feature?
As you're viewing a member's profile, you can click on the "Add Connection" icon. This will bring you to a screen where you will be able to send a message to that member that invites them to join your Connection
The member will receive an email notification that they have a new message waiting in the online alumni community; from there, they can accept or decline your invitation. Once they've accepted, their name will appear on your Connection
list. From there, you can easily send them messages through the site and have quick access to their profiles, photo galleries, and personal journals.How do I join a group?
To join a group, you must be logged into the site. Click on the "Groups" link in the left column, and select the type of group you would like to join. Then, click on the "Join Group" button at the top of the page. Your profile will then be linked from the group, allowing other group members to find you easily. You can also post messages to the group page by clicking on the "Post to this Blog" link.I have two degrees from Medaille, a bachelor's degree and a master's degree, but I am only signed up for the Group year where I received my master's degree. Can I join the group for my bachelor's degree year?
Yes, you can. By default, alumni are associated with the group for the class year in which they received their most recent degree. To join another class year's group, select the "Join Group" button at the top of that group's page. To change your primary association from one degree's year to another, please contact our office at (716) 880-2475 or email email@example.com
.What types of groups are there?
Groups have been established for each class year, the Amherst campus, the Rochester campus, Athletics, and the Alumni Board. By default, each alumni is associated with the group for their most recent degree's class year. News and event information specific to these groups will be posted to these pages.

To register for an event, select the event from the Calendar of Events. If an online registration option is available, click on the "Register for Event" link and follow the steps. Some events may only have online registration available to registered members of the community. If payment, for tickets, etc., is required, you may pay by credit card through a secure web site during the registration process.I have changed my last name. Will alumni be able to search and find my entry under my old and/or new last name?
Yes, the directory can be searched under all last names that we have recorded for our alumni.
