Cross Country
We are trying to raise money to help us to travel to future trips and more competitive meets. By expanding our team travel budget, we will be able to grow and improve immensely. Your donation will make this possible, and will help me and my teammates to become better runners!
Our Cross Country program is steadily on the rise. We made great steps in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference standings last year, jumping from last place for both the women and the men in 2006, to fourth and seventh in 2007, respectively. We feel that 2008 will be a much better year, as we have our sights set on reaching the top three. Golf The golf team is trying to raise money to fund various golf activities and our spring trip to Myrtle Beach to compete against championship level colleges. Your donation will help make our golf team more successful, which will make it easier to recruit skilled athletes.
The Medaille golf program is on the rise. Last fall we finished second in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play-offs. And in the spring we won the Penn State- Behrend Invitational Tournament, beating 8 other schools from our conference. We have our sights set on winning the 2008 AMCC Championship, which will earn us a berth in the NCAA Division III Golf Championship in the spring. Men's Soccer By sponsoring our team, we can raise money for our tournament in Virginia Beach, as well as other competitive trips. Funds raised will also assist us in purchasing new equipment so that we may train at a championship level. As our program continues to grow, we may also compete internationally in the near future. Your donation will help make these opportunities more affordable.
Our soccer program has established itself as a National Championship contender and we continue to get better. We have consistently been ranked in the Top 25 nationally, and we are going after an unprecedented 4th straight regular season Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship. We want to send this year’s senior class off with the best season in school history and our 4th Conference Championship. With you as a part of the Maverick Family, we know we can reach new heights! Women's Soccer Your donation will go directly to the Women’s Soccer program and assist in the purchasing of high quality gear, specialized training equipment, and a potential trip to a championship level tournament in the future. Your donation will be an integral part of my team obtaining these items and pursuing our goal of a conference championship.
Our team is continuing to excel and develop into a powerhouse in the AMCC. Each year we have improved our standing in the conference, and we are setting our sights on a conference championship and a trip to the NCAA tournament this year. Women's Volleyball Your donation will help fund our participation in a tournament this fall. Tournament play allows us to play against some of the highest level of competition on the East Coast. Your donation will make this trip more affordable and give my team and me a better opportunity to become elite athletes at our sport.
Our volleyball program is on the rise. We are coming off a difficult season, but this year looks very promising! We have a solid core group of girls with a lot of talent and determination. Graduate programs run year-round at the Medaille's Amherst Campus, including education, mental health counseling, and psychology degrees, along with the Accelerated Learning Program.
