The Medaille Fund

The Medaille Fund Details » Donate Online

Students outsideMedaille's enrollment has grown more than 200% over the previous ten years, making it one of the fastest growing colleges in the United States and the third largest private college in Western New York.

The College's operating budget has grown from $26 million in 2003-04 to $44 million in 2006-07. Medaille has added two new residence halls, which are at full capacity, and continues to have extraordinary success in placing graduates with local employers.

As this growth continues, increasing the Medaille Fund through fundraising, grants and donations is the most significant way to ensure financial strength for the College's future.

The cost of a Medaille College education is not entirely covered by tuition, and Medaille has a tradition of providing opportunities to deserving students who might not be able to pay the entire cost. More than 85% of our students receive financial support. Your Medaille Fund contribution helps make the Medaille College experience possible for many students.

In 2005-06, gifts to the Medaille Fund allowed the College to upgrade learning environments and add classrooms, upgrade student activity and athletic facilities, and provide for campus beautification.

Students with camerasWhat other benefits does the Medaille Fund provide?

A healthy Medaille Fund makes a Medaille degree more valuable. Alumni satisfaction is measured by Alumni giving rates when compiling national rankings, so each gift increases the value of a Medaille degree in the minds of employers. Most outside foundations view alumni participation as a key factor in deciding grant recipients. Your gift provides leverage for Medaille to receive dollars from other funding sources.

Your contribution also helps the College to remain a pillar of the community and economic engine, driving the local economy through employment and spending. Medaille College generates $114.1 million in economic activity, and the College is responsible for providing more than 1,330 jobs that produce $42.3 million in household earnings. The Medaille Fund is also a way to say thank you for the many Medaille memories you carry with you every day.

How do I participate in the Medaille Fund?

Your tax deductible gift can be made in the form of cash, check, credit card, stock, honor and memorial gifts.

Double or triple your gift! If you or your spouse work for a matching gift organization, you can double or triple your gift. Check with your company's human resource office for more information. Medaille College is also establishing a planned giving program. If you are interested in including Medaille in your estate planning or would like to learn more about the assistance Medaille can provide, contact the College today.
