Bamberg '87 MC receives 2008 Men of Distinction honor

Craig Bamberg '87 MC has been named a recipient of the 2008 Men of Distinction honor. Presented by the Education Foundation of Collier County and n magazine of Naples, this recognition is bestowed on a small group of local men whose work in the community exhibits civic pride and impacts a significant number of people.

Mr. Bamberg is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for United Way of Collier County and recently completed an ambitious annual fundraising campaign for the agency. A profile of Mr. Bamberg will be featured in the April issue of n magazine

Bamberg is the Director of Central Operations at ASG Software Solutions, a global enterprise software and professional services firm that provides a full range of software solutions with approximately 900 employees, $175 million in annual revenues, 7,000 customer sites, and 18,000 software licenses worldwide.

Bamberg’s volunteer efforts have impacted charitable offerings at the United Way of Collier County, Care Club of Collier County, Young Professionals of Naples, and the Buffalo Bills Backers of Naples, Florida. In 2007/2008, he led the local United Way agency in raising $2.5 million in its annual campaign as its Vice President/ Campaign Co-Chair. In 2008, he assumes the title of Vice President of Special Events.

He enjoys NFL Football with the Buffalo Bills Backers of Naples, Florida, where he is past President. Before he moved to Florida, Bamberg was involved with the East Aurora Cable Television Public Access along with his family’s 1985 restoration of the Historic Master Estate House on the Henry Jewett Horse Farm in East Aurora.
