Medaille’s Media Day 2008 will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Medaille’s Main Campus.

Following an 8:30 a.m. proclamation by Susan Sizemore, Executive Director of the Commission on the Status of Women for Erie County, the day will continue with seven panel discussions across three sessions: crisis communication, production/web development, non-profit communications, sales and marketing, and the changing face of print media, radio programming and the advertising agency.

A keynote session on sports broadcasting is scheduled for 11:15 in the Main Building Lecture Hall, with participants from local television channels 2, 4 and 7, and from Entercom Communications.

A luncheon in the gym will feature Medaille alumni speaking about their transition from college to the communications workplace. The event will conclude with a ribbon cutting in the new television studio at 1:30 p.m.
