A.J. Vérel '99 BA, Chairman of The Professional Martial Arts Hall of Fame & Museum, presented Emanuel “Tiny” Yarbrough, former sumo wrestler who is nationally ranked in judo, with the Goodwill Ambassador Award at the 4th Annual Kids Day Fest & Health Expo at the Belle Center in Buffalo, NY on Friday, August 28th.
Vérel also presented Sensei Bray, SumoKids Foundation founder, with the Community Leadership Award on behalf of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Graduate programs run year-round at the Medaille's Amherst Campus, including education, mental health counseling, and psychology degrees, along with the Accelerated Learning Program.
With a location in the town of Brighton, Medaille dedicated its campus in Rochester in the summer of 2009, offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees in business.
