"Verel, a former World Champion Kickboxer and Martial Arts Champion held titles for the World Kickboxing and Karate Association (WKA), World Kickboxing Council (WKC), and the World Kickboxing Organization (WKO). He spent five years with Fox Sports as the Chief Referee on the Hit Boxing Reality Show Toughman Championship Series and has worked on several motion pictures."

Verel has been working with State and Federal officials on locating the Pro Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Western New York, which is now chartered by the New York State Department of Education as a Museum. He has also been diligently working with State officials to find a way to bring the sport of Mixed Martial Arts to New York while offering quality assurance for the safety of the Martial Artists and Athletes."
Graduate programs run year-round at the Medaille's Amherst Campus, including education, mental health counseling, and psychology degrees, along with the Accelerated Learning Program.
With a location in the town of Brighton, Medaille dedicated its campus in Rochester in the summer of 2009, offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees in business.
