A.J. Verel '99 BA named The World Kickboxing Leagues (WKL) U.S. Delegate

"Pro Martial Arts Hall of Famer and Chairman, A.J. Verel '99 BA, has been named The World Kickboxing Leagues (WKL) U.S. Delegate for All Rules and Ring Sports. This includes all Sports overseen and sanctioned by the WKL including its Mixed Martial Arts Division."

"Verel, a former World Champion Kickboxer and Martial Arts Champion held titles for the World Kickboxing and Karate Association (WKA), World Kickboxing Council (WKC), and the World Kickboxing Organization (WKO). He spent five years with Fox Sports as the Chief Referee on the Hit Boxing Reality Show Toughman Championship Series and has worked on several motion pictures."

"His education, background and thorough knowledge of the sport made him the clear choice for this role. Verel has been working with State and Federal officials on locating the Pro Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Western New York, which is now chartered by the New York State Department of Education as a Museum. He has also been diligently working with State officials to find a way to bring the sport of Mixed Martial Arts to New York while offering quality assurance for the safety of the Martial Artists and Athletes."
