Does the idea of public speaking make you cringe? It doesn't have to! Practicing public speaking skills and building your self-confidence are key components of personal and professional success. Toastmasters is a great way for people to improve their communication and leadership skills in a friendly and pressure-free atmosphere. More than 260,000 members around the globe participate in Toastmaster workshops. Participants present on assigned topics and practice skills such as timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.

Medaille's Rochester Campus is excited to participate and we'd like you to join us. To learn more about Toastmasters, visit www.toastmasters.org. To participate, e-mail Jackie Guglietta '10 MC at jmg85@medaille.edu.
