July's Tip of the Month: Manage Your Connections

Save yourself time when looking for information on your friends and former classmates by adding them to your Connection list.
As you're viewing a member's profile, you can click on the "Add Connection" icon. This will bring you to a screen where you will be able to send a message to that member that invites them to join your Connection list.
The member will receive an email notification that they have a new message waiting in the online alumni community; from there, they can accept or decline your invitation. Once they've accepted, their name will appear on your Connection list. From there, you can easily send them messages through the site and have quick access to their profiles, photo galleries, and personal journals.
